Did seem to cause any troubles, that I can tell, from doing so, but you may want to consider adding a footnote. I thought of backing it up before installing this package.
Maybe NetworkManager or gnome updates are the problem atleast with my specs. Building modules, stage 2. Only thing it will do is the magic sysrq sequence or hard shutdown.

I got it to work with Fedora 11, bit and with my own plain-vanilla Kernel 2. ATI never has and never will aid in creating an effective driver for any distro of linux.
